I picked three cups of nasturtium seeds this August, followed the instructions for lacto-fermentation with salt, but never saw many bubbles. Once the time for fermentation was over, I capped them up, but then I left on a trip and never put them in the fridge. So they have been out for three months. They look fine, but I am afraid to taste them until I find out if there could be a problem. Should I compost them and start over next year? I'm really glad I found this forum, as there is so much contradictory information on the web!
