Fermenting Grape Leaves

Postby AdamG on Wed Jun 07, 2017 8:10 pm

I am about to harvest a whole bunch of grape leaves for fermentation. Have any of you done this before? Are there any tricks of the trade I should know about? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

The leaves are the produce that you're going to ferment and then eat?

I've never done that, but I use grape leaves in my cucumber pickles as a source of tannins. But I always just throw them out -- now I wonder if I've been missing an opportunity.

Hey, it's an old post, but wonder if someone had tried?
We eat grape leaves as Sarma, its rolled with rice inside.

Today we harvest Malva (Mallow, hubeza, Hubz) leaves, it's delicious ! and planning to try to ferment them,

Actually, in general, what do you think about fermenting soft leafy greens?
now it's season here after the rain full of edible leaves and sprouts,
Any tips or recepies?
