Rejuvelac

Postby melina on Tue Apr 21, 2009 7:11 pm

Hey guys,

I have a couple questions in the realm of rejuvelac. First, I'm interested if anyone has used it as a starter. I'm going to try making a walnut cheese and would love to hear what you've used it for.

Second, what things have you created with the sprouts leftover after decanting the rejuvelac?

Happy fermenting!

Hi.
I love to make rejuvelac from quinoa, and I use the leftover grains to make raw crackers. I just put them in the vitamix with a little rejuvelac, some spices and a little salt. I blend it to the consistency of pancake batter, and then pour it into little pancakes on dehydrator sheets. After a few hours in the dehydrator at 105 degrees they look kinda like pringles and taste awesome.
