Hello fellow fermenters!
I am somewhat new to fermenting and found this forum while searching out what to do about finding a film on some of my crock pickles. I think I located the answer! Come to find out that the while film I've been scooping up every other day is actually yeast and I can use it for bread! Hurrah!
Currently I have a big ol crock of homegrown cukes going. I've been adding to it as I have bits of cucumbers plucked. It's been very hot here in TN but I think my plants are finally adapting!
