I keep stock in the freezer and it lasts forever. I ordered from Indonesia. For current use I keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator, probably life is six months or more.

I think as long as you need it :-) I usually order 6m -1y supply and never had problems with that

It lasts forever if kept frozen and a long time just refrigerated.
You only use half a teaspoon or less for a batch of lentils.
