Needing to delay bottling kombucha

I've got a kombucha ferment that's just a day or two away from needing to be bottled, but I'm going to be out of town. Has anyone had any luck with refrigerating the brew to slow down the fermentation?

Thanks, all!

I'm updating so that maybe someone else can use this info!

So I sat the ferment and the mother as-is in the fridge for about 36 hours. It's a 2 gal jug, so it took about that long for it to return to ambient temp once I removed it from the fridge.

I bottled last night, the mother looked happy and healthy, the ferment was fizzy and zippy, so I think I'll call this trial a success!
