How to ferment coffee?

Can I just make sugary coffee, let temperature set down, add kombucha and wait for week? Or should i use tibi? Or some honey and fruit with bacterias naturally on it?

I was just thinking about fermenting coffee this morning. But I don't know a thing about it. I was sort of thinking you might ferment the beans.

I don't do coffee, so I have no opinion, but I believe that fermentation takes place after picking at the plantation -- at least in some normal preparations.

Yes some, but you can ferment beans more, or you can make bevarage and ferment that to.

I made coffee kombucha a few times but it has been years. I believe I made a sugary coffee while it was hot and then after it cooled I added an extra scoby from the hotel and fermented as I normally do my kombucha. It was good and it carbed up better than normal kombucha so it was nice and fizzy.

No problem, good luck! I should also add that I used the same amount of kombucha starter (ratio) as a normal batch, not just the scoby.
